Two McDonald’s locations in the Toronto area have reported employees testing positive for COVID-19 this week.

According to the fast-food chain, an employee at the 710 King Street West location was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 on February 22. They had last worked on February 17.

On February 24, an employee at the 3025 Clayhill Road location in Mississauga was reported to have tested positive for the virus. They had last worked on February 20.

Anyone who visited an affected McDonald’s is asked to take directions from Ontario Public Health.

McDonald’s Canada says their restaurants have implemented enhanced safety measures, including having hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-touch surfaces and tables sanitized, and making masks mandatory for all staff.
