A Mississauga McDonald’s employee has tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, as more cases continue to be reported in the region.

On January 25, according to the fast-food chain, an employee at the 6650 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle location reported testing positive for COVID-19.

They had last worked in the restaurant on January 22.

In the last few days, two Toronto employees also reported testing positive for the virus as McDonald’s continues to update its COVID-19 cases.

Anyone who visited an affected McDonald’s is asked to take directions from Ontario Public Health.

McDonald’s Canada says their restaurants have implemented enhanced safety measures, including having hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-touch surfaces and tables sanitized, and making masks mandatory for all staff.
