Two Toronto area McDonald’s employees have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last few days, as more cases continue to be reported.

On January 22, a McDonald’s employee at 3132 Eglinton Avenue East in Scarborough reported testing positive for COVID-19. They had last worked at the restaurant on January 19.

On January 24, an employee at the 3305 Sheppard Avenue East location reported testing positive for COVID-19. They had last worked on January 21.

Anyone who visited an affected McDonald’s is asked to take directions from Ontario Public Health.

McDonald’s Canada says their restaurants have implemented enhanced safety measures, including having hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-touch surfaces and tables sanitized, and making masks mandatory for all staff.
