Two Toronto McDonald’s employees have tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, as more cases continue to be reported.

On January 20, an employee at a McDonald’s located at 3850 Sheppard Avenue East reported testing positive for COVID-19 and had last worked on January 17.

That same day, an employee at 2870 Eglinton Avenue East in Scarborough reported testing positive for the virus and had last worked on January 18.

Anyone who visited an affected McDonald’s is asked to take directions from Ontario Public Health.

On Monday and over the weekend, six Toronto McDonald’s locations also reported cases among staff members.

McDonald’s Canada says their restaurants have implemented enhanced safety measures, including having hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-touch surfaces and tables sanitized, and making masks mandatory for all staff.
