A Toronto McDonald’s employee has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, as more cases continue to be reported.

On January 19, an employee at the 1890 Avenue Road location reported testing positive for the virus. The employee had last worked on January 16.

Anyone who visited an affected McDonald’s is asked to take directions from Ontario Public Health.

On Monday and over the weekend, six Toronto McDonald’s locations also reported cases among staff members.

McDonald’s Canada says their restaurants have implemented enhanced safety measures, including having hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-touch surfaces and tables sanitized, and making masks mandatory for all staff.
