Three McDonald’s employees in the Toronto area have tested positive for COVID-19 since early last week and into the weekend.

On February 16, an employee at the 395 Bamburgh Circle location in Scarborough reported testing positive for the virus. They had last worked on February 12.

The same day, an employee at McDonald’s 9291 Highway 48 location was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 and had last worked on February 14.

On February 21, an employee at the 150 McNaughton Road East location reported testing positive for the virus. They had last worked on February 17.

Anyone who visited an affected McDonald’s is asked to take directions from Ontario Public Health.

McDonald’s Canada says their restaurants have implemented enhanced safety measures, including having hand sanitizer dispensers available, keeping high-touch surfaces and tables sanitized, and making masks mandatory for all staff.
