McDonald’s Canada has announced that an employee at a Toronto restaurant has tested positive for COVID-19.

On April 29, a staff member working at the McDonald’s located at 2 Ingram Drive in North York reported they had tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee’s last shift was on April 28 from 6:05 am to 2:15 pm.

This location has now been shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation. The restaurant will re-open once direction has been given by Ontario Public Health.

All crew members who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

McDonald’s Canada is asking for any guests who may have visited the restaurant on April 28 to take directions from the experts at Ontario Public Health.
