During a pandemic, when people are reeling for now-closed amenities, the future owners of this massive Toronto mansion will be living pretty comfortably.

The home, located at 19 High Point Road in the exclusive Bridle Path neighbourhood, has every amenity you could ever need, including an indoor pool and basketball court, a home movie theatre, steam room, a private tennis court, and parking for 30 cars. And it can all be yours for the price of $25,000,000.

The massive 25,000-sq-ft mansion, with six bedrooms and a whopping 12 bathrooms, hit the market at the end of April and became an attractive addition to the Toronto luxury homes market.

In addition to all of its hotel-like amenities, it also has an elevator and a backup generator, so even in a power outage, you can still watch your movies on the big screen and skip the stairs between floors.

The palatial home was designed by famous Canadian-born and Toronto-based designer Brian Gluckstein.

“It shows in the luxurious finishes,” Zoocasa agent Emma Pace told Daily Hive.

The fact that this home is on the public market — and that we’re getting a peek at all of its amenities — is quite rare, according to Pace.

“Often homes in this range sell privately,” she said. “There have only been four properties in Toronto publicly listed since the pandemic with a higher list price than this.”

As to be expected, the buyer pool for this type of property will be quite small, with any prospective buyer needing to have a very high net worth.

“This particular property will attract buyers with a minimum nine-figure net worth, needing almost eight figures just for a down payment,” Pace said. “A net worth statement will likely be required just to enter the estate for a showing, which is common for properties of this calibre.”

Whoever does buy the mansion will be one lucky homeowner, and if they ever decide to throw a pool party, we’d love an invite.
