Toronto man allegedly kidnapped and held victim hostage

Toronto police have requested the public’s assistance locating a man who is wanted for allegedly kidnapping, assaulting, and robbing a male victim in downtown Toronto this summer.

On Wednesday, July 10, police say they responded to a call for a kidnapping in the area of Bay Street and Gerrard Street West.

Police say the suspect allegedly kidnapped, assaulted, and held a male victim hostage. During this time, the victim was forced to turn over his credit card with the PIN number and purchases were then made on the credit card.
