Incredible shots of last night's lightning storm in Toronto (VIDEOS)

Following a hot and humid Tuesday afternoon, the city was hit by an intense and powerful lightning storm.

As evening descended, dark and ominous clouds closed in too, as the storm made its way in to Toronto. The result, in addition to a slight lift in that heavy humidity, was a pretty epic lightning show.

While most of the city stayed indoors, a few brave souls managed to go outside and capture the storm in all its glory.
