13 scenic Toronto locations to take the coolest pics this summer

Well, we got a little taste of summer the past few days and boy did it feel good.

Of course, it also looked good too.

Which got us thinking about the best Toronto Instagram locations in the city. You know, where you can take in some of the city’s most scenic spots while also snapping a few envy-inducing pics.

So we’ve rounded up everything from scenic parks and beaches to local street art for you to discover. Just remember, pics or it didn’t happen…

High Park

There’s more to High Park than the cherry blossom trees. The hiking trails, lakes, streams, manicured gardens and lush greenery are definitely a must see, not to mention they make the perfect Instagram photo backdrop.

Nathan Phillips Square

Give your feed a dose of Toronto pride by snapping a pic in front of the city’s bustling Nathan Phillips Square.

Sugar Beach

This sweet spot is known for its white Muskoka chairs, pink umbrellas, and amazing skyline views. Definitely worthy of an Instagram selfie.

Scarborough Bluffs

Head east and you’ll find yourself surrounded by some of the most scenic views in all of Ontario. This stunning lookout needs to be at the top of your summer Instagram bucket list.

Canoe Landing Park

Douglas Coupland’s “Red Canoe” at Canoe Landing Park  is one of our favourite spots to snap an Insta pic. What could be more Canadian than an incredible view of the CN tower from the comfort of a big red canoe?

Allan Gardens Conservatory

You’ll feel worlds away from the city at this century-old greenhouse. With hundreds of tropical plants from around the world, you’ll always manage to find the perfect backdrop for an Insta pic.

Polson Pier

There are few things more memorable than watching the sunset over the city skyline at Polson Pier. Make the experience even more memorable by enjoying a bottle (or two) of wine. We won’t judge (or tell).

On the Harbourfront

While the Toronto Island is usually the go-to spot to take in Toronto’s incredible skyline, we’re quickly learning that some of the best views are seen on the water

Graffiti Alley

Tucked behind Toronto’s bustling Queen Street West, you’ll find some of the city’s best graffiti art. Every nook of this strip houses unique and colourful designs that are definitely worthy of an Instagram post.

Kensington Market

Liven up your Insta feed with a pic taken in the city’s artsy Kensington Market neighbourhood. Here you’ll find eclectic shops filled with vintage clothes, handmade goods, and fresh fruits and veggies, countless restaurants, and plenty of photo opportunities.

Trinity Bellwoods Park

During summer in Toronto, day-drinking and Trinity Bellwoods Park go together like footlong hotdogs and Blue Jays games. Make sure to spend at least one sunny afternoon in this park before summer ends.

Toronto Blue Jays Game

Whether you’re a die-hard Jays fan or a supportive bandwagoner, you can be sure to snap an Insta worthy pic or two at a game no matter where you’re sitting.

Toronto Island

No Toronto summer could be complete without a visit to the island and a shot of the stunning skyline taken from the beach.
