If you’re on the hunt for a Toronto home that’s going to give you amazing water views every single day, you can’t really beat living directly on the water in a houseboat.
And one of these homes in Bluffer’s Park Marina just hit the market with the relatively low asking price (for Toronto, anyway) of $339,000.
It’s a newly updated one-bedroom houseboat that’s equipped for year-round living with a furnace and hot water tank.
The living area is pretty spacious, with tons of windows to make it feel bright and airy. And although the kitchen is on the cozier side, it does come with a refrigerator and propane stove.
There’s also a compact bathroom with a standing shower, and a sizeable bedroom, too. And inside the bedroom are stairs up to the upper deck, where whoever is lucky enough to live here will have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.
Listing agent Denise Doucet says that living in the marina offers a great, active lifestyle that can’t be matched in the rest of the city.
“The lifestyle is absolutely amazing,” Doucet told Daily Hive. “You just hop on your kayak or your paddle board right off of your dock.”

And since the spot that the houseboat is currently in is rented, Doucet says that the buyer also has the option to move it wherever they like in the marina for a small fee.
“You can stay in the slip that it’s in or you can contact the marina if you’ve ventured out and decided you want to live in a different part of the marina,” Doucet said. “If it’s available they will typically have no problem moving you over.”
The marina has a parking lot for its residents, and there’s also a TTC bus that runs to the area from May to October each year, so commuting to other parts of the city can be done relatively easily.
