There's an immersive Ghostbusters movie experience coming to Toronto this month

If you’re looking to get into the Halloween spirit early this year, there’s an immersive movie experience coming to Toronto this month.
Kicking off on October 17, movie-buffs can go on a slime-filled 80s adventure, as The Secret Sessions brings the classic Ghostbusters movie to life in honour of its upcoming 35th anniversary.
During the experience, the audience will be transported to New York City in 1984 for a chance to visit Ghostbusters headquarters and meet the four men who are saving the city from paranormal activity, all while the iconic film is playing on the big screen.
That’s right. This isn’t just about going to the movies, it’s about being a part of them – literally. You’ll play the part of an extra as professional actors restage and reinvent the famous film right before your eyes.

While this is a participatory event, you are not expected to act, but you will have the opportunity to interact with the characters around you.
In addition, you are expected to dress the part. Bring out your finest 1980s ghost fighting attire and dress to impress. More detailed instructions about the dress code will be sent to you upon purchase of your ticket.
The Ghostbuster movie experience will take at the Redwood Theatre from October 17 to 20 and then October 24 to 27. Screenings will run from 7 pm to 10 pm, with additional 2 pm family-friendly matinees happening on October 20 and 27.
