Toronto's gayest Christmas market is back

Nov 19 2016, 3:05 am

The Xmas edition of Pink Market is back and will bigger and better than ever.

The third iteration of Toronto’s queer marketplace takes place on Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4 from 11 am to 5 pm  at The 519 Community Centre. It’s free to attend and will feature almost 40 vendors hawking everything from children’s apparel and cross stitch to sex toys and a zine celebrating Dana Scully’s wardrobe choices.

Pink Market founder Natalia Manzocco started the market as a way for small business owners that identify as queer to band together and network, as well as to offer a one-stop-shop for consumers who want to support queer-owned business.

So what will be for sale at Toronto’s gayest holiday market this year?

Here’s just a small sampling of what to expect at PINK XMAS 2016:

Pop up cards from Roses Without Thorns

Christmas Ornaments from Book Nerd Embroidery

Scully’s Wardrobe, a fashion zine from Kitten Caboodle
