Here's your Toronto forecast for the holiday long weekend

As Toronto heads into the Victoria Day long weekend, odds are that residents have been hoping for a few sunny days’ respite from the realities of life.

Now more than ever, honestly.

On the bright side, according to The Weather Network, Saturday is looking to offer just that. With a high of 17Ā°C and a mix of sun and clouds, it’s looking like the perfect day for some (physically-distanced) park hangs or a BBQ in the backyard with your co-habitants.

But — we’re sorry to say — the bright days aren’t expected to last past that.

The weather agency says that Sunday will likely be rainy, with a high of 13Ā°C, while Monday calls for… the exact same. Precipitation-Ā and temperature-wise.

The rain is expected to linger into Tuesday, when it will be cloudy with showers and 14Ā°C, and on Wednesday days should lighten up with a high of 14Ā°C and a mix of sun and clouds.

Thursday and Friday should both be mainly sunny, with temperatures of 16Ā°C and 17Ā°C respectively.

Be sure to make the most of Saturday’s sun, but don’t be glum about the rest of the weekend. A little rain is the perfect excuse for lazy, cozy days of reading, movies, and snacks. Or, perhaps, a test-run ofĀ the premier’s famous cheesecake recipe?
