These Toronto fitness studios are offering digital classes right now

Toronto is collectively staying home in the effort to reduce transmission of COVID-19, which means fitness studios across the city have temporarily closed.

But that doesn’t mean your routines have to temporarily shut down, too. Keep your body moving and your mind calm with these digital fitness classes being offered by studios across the community.

Many of them are free, and all of them will have you feeling better through the power of mindful, at-home movement:

While YYOGA studios are temporarily closed and memberships are put on hold, you can try out two weeks of YYOGA at Home for free by clicking here.

While in-person classes at studios and yoga centres across the city are on hold, Krista is sharing the toolkit you need to access those personal powers for free, digitally, via Instagram live.

Planet Fitness is offering the opportunity to bring the gym to your living room with its new free online fitness class series, dubbed Home Work-Ins. Available to both members and non-members, classes will broadcast on Facebook live at 7 pm every day. Workouts will be under 20 minutes, won’t require any equipment, and will be led by Planet Fitness certified trainers as well as special guests.

Each workout will also be available for viewing on Facebook orĀ YouTubeĀ after the live ends.

This massive Toronto fitness community — which usually runs over 300 classes a week — has begun a series of 30-minute Instagram live workouts led by their top trainers. Requiring no gym equipment, these workouts offer both the chance to stay fit, and stay connected.

Until this time of uncertainty is over, workouts will go live on Instagram daily at noon and / or 5:30 pm, offering a workout with a Fit Factory instructor.
