Fall for Dance North

What: FFDN, Toronto’s premier international dance festival, is happening in Toronto this week, showcasing 12 works from 11 companies across three distinct programmes. Some of the events to look forward to includes Soweto Skeleton Movers, Red Sky Performance, and the National Ballet of Canada.

The Disruptors by Samuel Adams

What: This pop-up shop features four innovative Canadian small businesses, each of which were hand-selected by the beer company for breaking the mould and carving new paths, just like Jim Koch did in 1984 when he created Samuel Adams Boston Lager. Retailers include Loch, Xpand Laces, Soft Focus, and 8.1.2.

Mark Anthony Portfolio Tasting

What: One of the premier wine purveyors in Ontario, Mark Anthony sells to Toronto’s favourite restaurants, boutiques, and retailers. The event is taste-to-buy and admission is free. There will be a blind tasting challenge with a $1,000 wine education scholarship prize. The event will feature over a dozen wines and spirits.

Toronto Maple Leafs Home Opener Tailgate Party

What: Get those Leafs jerseys out! It’s time for this year’s home opener against the rival Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs are throwing a massive tailgate party to celebrate. Fans in the Square will enjoy pre-game programming filled with numerous giveaways, partner activations, a live DJ and special guests including Carlton the Bear and notable Maple Leafs alumni.

Brickworks Cidermaker Dinner
