Toronto Poutine Fest
What: A caravan of poutine purveyors will land in Toronto this spring for a four-day festival devoted to the fries, curds, and gravy at Yonge-Dundas Square!

Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors
What: This is the final weekend to check out Infinity Mirrors, the dazzling world of Yayoi Kusama at the AGO. During this exhibit, visitors have the opportunity to experience six of Kusama’s most iconic kaleidoscopic environments at once.

What: Toronto-born artist Anthony Ricciardi, whose noteworthy style incorporates layers of colours, imagery and text, now has his first-ever floating gallery featuring his one-of-a-kind masterpieces on display in Yorkville Village.

Toronto LGBT Film Festival
What: Each year, the Toronto LGBT Film Festival celebrates the best queer film from Canada and around the world. The 28th Annual Toronto LGBT Film Festival will take place from May 24 to June 3.

Yoko Ono: The Riverbed
What: This weekend, you’re invited to experience Yoko Ono’s latest art installation, The Riverbed, at the Gardiner Museum. The Riverbed invites visitors to collaborate with the artist, the museum, and each other, through everyday action and contemplation.

A Forest of Canoes at The Bentway
What: A Forest of Canoes by Dana Claxton, is a site-specific installation set up throughout The Bentway and is co-commissioned with Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival and curated by Bonnie Rubenstein. The installation highlights the iconic role and symbolism of the canoe in Canadian, Metis, and Indigenous histories.

Manolo Blahnik: The Art of Shoes
What: This month, Manolo Blahnik and the Bata Shoe Museum will be joining forces, bringing the highly anticipated travelling exhibit Manolo Blahnik: The Art of Shoes to Toronto.

Lift Cannabis Expo

Music Music Life Death Music: An Absurdical
What: Starting this weekend, you can see the world premiere of MUSIC MUSIC LIFE DEATH MUSIC an “absurdical” with live music exploring the unexpected dynamics between three generations of family: a grandmother, her daughter, son-in-law and teenage grandson.

Marathon of Sport Toronto
What: This Saturday, Toronto-born national charity, Motionball, will welcome 1,000 young professionals, local celebrities and Special Olympics athletes for an action-packed day of sport at its 17thannual Marathon of Sport Toronto in support of the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

Evergreen Brick Works Saturday Markets
What: The Evergreen Brick Works Saturday market has grown to become the largest farmers’ market in Toronto. Here you’ll find a wide variety of local and seasonal food from local farmers and producers.

Toronto Flower Market
What: The Toronto Flower Market is on this Saturday and flower enthusiasts can look forward to 18 vendor stalls each selling an assortment of seasonal showstoppers including tulips, daffodils, gerbera, orchids, hyacinths, muscari, lilacs, and more. Plus there will also be an array of dahlia tubers, seedlings, garden planters, handmade pots and indoor plants also for sale.

Doors Open Toronto: Bay Lower Station
What: This Saturday, the TTC is opening the doors to the abandoned Bay Lower Station, which hasn’t been in use since 1966. Transit and film enthusiasts can explore the platforms and check out the posters and videos of the many productions filmed there, including Suicide Squad and The Handmaid’s Tale.

Greenwood Stakes 2018
What: The Greenwood Stakes will be taking over Woodbine Racetrack for an afternoon of high stakes horse races, style contest, lawn games, a cocktail showcase with Toronto’s top mixologists, and more this Saturday.

Lego Exhibit at Fort York
What: Transit Bricks will have its bus and streetcar models on display in the main Visitor’s Center at Fort York this weekend as part of Doors Open Toronto. Trevor the Transit Historian will also be there teaching the history.

Woofstock

Waterfront Artisan Market
What: Back for its third year in 2018, the Waterfront Artisan Market runs every weekend until the first week in October. The outdoor festival, presented by The Waterfront BIA and operated by the Scadding Court Community Centre, will feature 50 bakers, chefs, and artisans hawking summery street foods and locally-made products.

Doors Open Toronto 2018
What: This year, during the 19th annual event, the city will be celebrating Toronto’s thriving film industry. This month, Doors Open will showcase some of the most architecturally, historically, culturally, and socially significant buildings across Toronto. The theme, Film: The Great Romance, will explore the city’s film and television industry.

8th Annual Christie Pits Arts Crawl
