From food festivals to concerts and a comedy show, here are the top events happening in the city from July 16 to 22.

Vans Warped Tour

What: The iconic Warped Tour will be making its only Canadian stop in Toronto this week, giving Torontonians the chance to relive their glory days. Mayday Parade, Reel Big Fish, Sum 41, Underoath, The Maine, and Simple Plan are some of the bands hitting the stage.

Open Roof Festival

What: Movie lovers can enjoy an outdoor screening of Thoroughbreds Wednesday evening at Open Roof Festival. In addition to the movie, guests can enjoy live music, delicious eats and beer from Amsterdam Brewery.

Medley Food & Drink Festival

What: Aimed at “creating experiences full of culinary delight, entertainment, flavour, clever surprises, and a celebration of life, community and Canadiana,” this food fest will host brewers, vintners, distillers, food makers, restauranteurs, and celebrity chefs for three days of lakeside fun.

When: July 20

Orangeville Rotary Ribfest

What: This July marks the 9th anniversary of this great community event, which will feature fabulous ribbers who will be serving up thousands of mouth-watering ribs. With barbequed ribs, a beer tent, continuous live entertainment on the big stage, there’s no better way to celebrate summer. Admission is free but donations are accepted.

When: July 20 to 22

Pizza Fest

What: This weekend, you can look forward to a citywide showdown crowning Toronto’s best slice at Pizza Fest. In addition to cheesy triangles of heaven, expect a wide spectrum of Italian eats ranging from pasta and meatballs and beyond… not to mention cocktails and wine.

Kevin Hart 2018

What: Funnyman and self-proclaimed ‘comedic rockstar’ Kevin Hart will be coming to Toronto for his Irresponsible Tour this year. Hart will perform at the Scotiabank Arena on July 21.
