From a free skate night to a delicious beer and cheese pairing, here are the top events happening in Toronto from January 7 to 13.

Free Skate Night at the Bentway

What: Winter is here and that means ice skating. On Thursday nights, the Bentway is hosting a free skate night, with free skate rentals courtesy of Billy Bishop Airport. There will also be free drop-in skating lessons courtesy of The West Toronto Skating Club.

When: January 10
Time: Free skate rentals, 5 pm to 9 pm; free skating lessons, 6 pm to 8 pm

Beer and Cheese Pairing

What: Forget wine and cheese, not really though because it’s amazing, but anyway how about beer and cheese? Yeah, that’s right. Each of the pairings you try at this evening event will be different. They’ll include some interesting and sometimes challenging cheeses, served alongside five of Rorschach Brewing’s current beer creations.

Canada’s Bridal Show Winter 2019

What: Canada’s Bridal Show is the most renowned Bridal Show, established in 1984 always prospering and showcasing all the latest trends in the bridal industry.

When: January 11 to 13
Time: Friday, 5 pm to 10 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm; Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm
Where: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front Street West

Dumpling Crawl

What: This foodie series is happening every Friday in January. You’re going to be able to try all sorts of different eats from all over Toronto. This week, you’ll be visiting five restaurants in Chinatown, all serving a different style of Chinese dumpling. Savour soup dumplings, potstickers and dim sum favourites while hiding from the cold.

Trevor Noah Loud and Clear Tour

What: South African comedian and The Daily Show host Trevor Noah is coming to Vancouver for a live performance this month. Noah will land in the city as part of his 28-performance, North America-wide, Loud and Clear Tour. Noah is known around the world for his insightful and authentic take on politics and current events.

Trinity Bellwoods Flea – New Year Market

What: Start the new year by checking out the Trinity Bellwoods New Year Market, which will feature lots of new vendors, brands and designers.
