FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Get into holiday spirit at the annual Toronto Christmas Market, which is back today, November 18.
The Market will feature entertainment, beer gardens, vendors, and a whole lot of Christmas cheer. Get cozied up, and head down to the Distillery District to experience its magic.
While admission remains free during weekdays, the non-profit organization has evening and weekend charges — but worry not, it all goes to charity.
In order to help you plan, here are the different price points for this year’s Christmas Market.
Opening day, November 18: free.
Weekdays until 5 pm: free.
Weekends starting at 5 pm on Fridays: $6 (includes HST)
And for those who want to bypass any entry lineup into the festival, there is now a Fast Pass, which is $20 (includes HST).
Funds raised from the admission fee help grow the festival, and support three charities: The Daily Bread Food Bank which helps provide nutritious food to people struggling with hunger, Plan International Canada which helps families and children in developing countries to break the cycle of poverty, and The Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund which helps provide gifts to underprivileged children.
Tickets are online and available at the door. The market is closed on Mondays.
