These are the 5 cheapest rental listings in Toronto right now

Mar 4 2020, 11:56 am

Earlier this year, it was projected that Toronto’s rental market would remain “tight,” with monthly rent expected to rise 7%.

Last month, Toronto took the top spot for the most expensive rent in the country, with a one-bedroom now averaging $2,300.

But don’t let this discourage you from entering the rental market, because there are still some listings in the GTA that won’t cost you a small fortune — you just need to know where to find them.

According to Zoocasa, there are a number of listings currently well below the average rental price this month, all listed at $900 per month.

But… they are generally small, studios, and in lower levels or basements.

Read on to see the five cheapest rentals currently available in the city.
