NYC-based vegan restaurant 'by CHLOE.' opening first Canadian locations in Toronto

Vegans, get ready. Something big is coming.

New York City-based eatery by CHLOE. is gearing up to open its first Canadian location in Toronto this year.

After successful restaurant openings in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Providence, and London, the popular plant-based eatery will open its doors at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in late September.

The new spot will offer the classic by CHLOE. menu that you know and love to indulge in when you visit the big apple, in addition to a selection of ‘Grab + Go’, seasonally-changing market specials, and freshly baked sweets.

And in addition to being 100% plant-based, there will be gluten-free and soy-free options available.

To celebrate their Canadian launch, the restaurant will also introduce an exclusive “Toronto by CHLOE.” menu that takes inspiration from classic Canadian dishes and local ingredients.

But don’t fret. This Toronto-focused menu will be available alongside — not in place of — best sellers like The Guac Burger, Quinoa Taco Salad, and Pesto Meatball.

The by CHLOE. Yorkdale location will be a replica of the brand’s first ever flagship location in NYC’s West Village, with the exterior of the store replicating the original’s iconic corner at Bleecker Street and MacDougal Street.

The US import is also set to open its second Canadian location in Toronto’s financial district in 2020.
