New Toronto rental building is giving away a free Tesla

A brand new rental building in a popular Toronto neighbourhood is giving a free Tesla to one lucky lease signer.

Novus, located at 11 and 25 Ordnance Street in Liberty Village, announced the contest on Wednesday. The first 200 leases signed in the building will be automatically entered to win a Model 3 pearl white Tesla. What makes it even better is that the winner will also get one year of free parking.

The residential building’s design placed a large emphasis on green living with electric vehicle charging stations, urban rooftop beehives, environmentally friendly cleaning, and a reforestation commitment, so the Tesla giveaway makes perfect sense.

“Our intention is to create a community where sustainability, diversity and inclusion, as well as health and well-being, are at the forefront,” said Residential Managing Director at BentallGreenOak Gary Lee. “We set out to make an impact knowing that these are initiatives our residents care about, but which are also ingrained in our company culture.

“We are committed to creating a community that fosters participation and celebrates all that makes Toronto a beautiful and diverse city. As we open for occupancy, we want to celebrate all of our new residents and welcome them to the Novus family — and one of the exciting ways we are doing this is by gifting an electric vehicle.”

Novus boasts a slew of other high-end amenities, including a fitness studio, screening room, pet spa, on-site car share, and an original art collection from local BIPOC artists.

Fitness club Altea Active, which occupies 89,000 sq ft in the building, also offers complimentary memberships on all one-year lease agreements for a limited time.

The Tesla giveaway will close after the first 200 leases are signed or on December 15, 2021 — whichever comes sooner.
