Bernie Sanders is coming to Toronto next week

Bernie Sanders, man of the people, will be in Toronto next week.

The US senator and 2016 presidential candidate will be in town to speak at Convocation Hall for an event titled “What the US Can Learn From Canadian Health Care.”

Hosted by the University of Toronto, Sanders will be joined on stage by Dr. Danielle Martin of Women’s College Hospital and the University of Toronto to discuss what the US can learn from Canada’s single-payer health care system.

The event has already garnered incredible attention from the public and has already sold out. However, the entire event will be livestreamed, so those who weren’t able to snag a ticket can still watch the entire event from the comfort of their homes.

According to organizers, livestreaming details will be made available on Saturday, October 28 on the event website.
