Well, Toronto, we’re kicking off the new month on a high note — a high temperature note that is.
The seemingly neverending days of frigid air and brisk temperatures appear to be behind us, as much warmer temperatures have arrived.
According to Environment Canada, this afternoon is going to be absolutely beautiful. Not only is the mercury going to reach 27°C, but the humidex, which is the humidity index, will make it feel more like 31°C.
Hallelujah.
By this afternoon, the sunshine will shift to a mix of sun and clouds, and we’re going to have southwest winds ranging from 30 km/hr to 50 km/hr.
If you’re near the lakeshore today, it’s going to be a tad bit cooler, as temperatures are expected to reach a high of 18°C along the water.
But alas, all good things must come to an end as it’s going to remain mostly cloudy this evening, with showers beginning overnight with potential thunderstorms expected heading into Thursday.
Environment Canada is showing that we’re going to have a low of 13°C this evening.
But hey, we’ll take all the warm weather that we can get, because anything is better than the brutal weather we had to experience already this spring.
