While today’s weather is dreary, and well, a tad bit depressing, Torontonians can find comfort in the fact that warm weather is on the horizon—and just in time for the May long weekend.
While we have to get through a few more rainy and damp days, sunshine will arrive on Friday to kick off the holiday weekend.
On Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 15°C, although technically not beach weather, but it will be accompanied by mainly sunny skies, which is something we can definitely get behind.
While there is a slight chance of showers on Sunday, sunshine and a high of 20°C are also expected.

But what should really get Torontonians excited is the fact that on Monday a high of 22°C is expected, which will feel more like 26°C with the humidex, according to The Weather Network.
So, in case you’re not spending the weekend away at a cottage and you’re planning on hanging in the city, and maybe even attending the opening night of Budweiser Stage, you’re in for a very sunny and warm Monday to kick off the long weekend.
