A fusion of flavours from two different worlds combines into one delicious menu at the By Chef Nuit Pop-up.

Through the culinary works behind PAI Toronto and Kiin comes a new twist at traditional Western favourites.

Available for take-out and delivery only, the pop-up located at 326 Adelaide Street West has taken over the Kiin kitchen starting August 18.

The curbside patio is available for hungry customers, weather permitting, but orders are available through food-delivery sites.

From Burgers to wings, poutines and salads, Chef Nuit Regular combines Thai cuisine favourites from her local restaurants and creates a fusion like no other.

Having played around with flavours at home, Jeff Regular, Chef Nuit’s husband, said that his wife’s creativity in the kitchen was meant to be shared and the pop-up worked as a great idea.

The Panang Poutine, a play on the French-Canadian favourite, is served with braised beef, panang curry sauce, red chilli for a bit of a kick, topped with basil sprouts and lime leaf for some freshness.

Don’t forget those cheese curds too for the ultimate poutine explosion.

Although a salad isn’t necessarily shared, for the size of this portion, you might want to.

Offering several alternatives, the Yum Yai Salad comes with the option to add grilled steak, shrimp, or grilled portobello mushroom.

The salad comes with all the works, including fried garlic, sunflower seeds, crispy green peas, and a hard-boiled egg.

The Massaman Beef Sandwich will satisfy your hunger and can definitely serve as your main dish.

The sweet and flavourful braised beef coated in Massaman curry sauce, along with smoked provolone, and quick-pickled cucumber, watermelon radish, arugula sprouts and crispy shallots complement each other very well.

Chef Nuit’s Pad See Ew, served with her signature Pad See Ew sauce, chicken, gai lan, and egg is the perfect dish that you can order at any time and not feel guilty about it.

Seriously, it is that good.

Make sure to order the Laap wings tossed in Chef Nuit’s laap seasoning, in a spicy combination with mint, lemongrass, crispy chillis and deep-fried lime leaves.

The perfect crunch with every bite, you won’t want to share.

Your typical burgers and fries are nothing compared to the mountain of a burger you’ll have here.

For vegan options, you can opt-out of the beef and pork choice and go for a portobello mushroom, topped with a Thai-style fried egg, fried holy basil and spicy mayo and sriracha.

Tom Yum Fries come at an additional cost but make sure to add them to your order.

You’ll thank yourself for this one.
