Sushi burritos were so 2016.

Toronto’s trend-setting Su&Bu has already kicked off the new year with a brand new interpretation on the Japanese dish: SUSHI BURGERS.

Built on crispy fried rice buns similar to the base of sushi pizza, the newly launched burger retails for $9.99 and comes stacked with raw salmon and tuna dressed in green onions, avocado, arugula, lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, seaweed salad, and finished with Sriracha aioli and sesame aioli.

Instagram documents sushi burgers popping up on menus around the globe, though this is a first for Toronto.

At Su&Bu, look forward to an expanded range of burgers added to the menu in the near future. There’s talk of adding different fish options plus grilled beef and chicken toppings on the same crispy rice buns.
