A 19+ nighttime Street Eats Festival is coming to Toronto this fall

Sep 20 2019, 4:32 pm

If you’re big on enjoying street food, craft beers, and live music all for a good cause, this fall’s food festival is for you.

Street Eats Fest 2019 is a fundraiser that will support CRC – Regent Park Community Food Centre. Tickets sold out early last year, and this season there are only 300 available… so don’t wait.

The 19+ event will see nine of the city’s top chefs congregate to serve up some of their classic, gourmet eats street-food style. And while you dine, you’ll also enjoy premium Canadian wines, craft beers, live music, and the opportunity to support CRC.

Participating culinary talents include Shawn Adler of Pow Wow Cafe and The Flying Chestnut Kitchen, Patricia Chung of Singh’s Trini-Vibes, and new chefs Justin Cournoyer of Actinolite, Carl Heinrich and Ryan Donovan of Richmond Station, Jesse Luangrath of 416 Snack Bar, and more.

Inspired by street food from around the world, the festival is one of the best ways to try traditionally-made and flavour-filled foods that hold stories from different cultures.

The event is set to take place on November 27 from 6:30 pm until 9 pm, in the glass-fronted drop-in space at the CRC – Regent Park Community Food Centre, which does critical work in Regent Park through good food, dignified housing, and skill-building programs.

The dynamic spot is used daily by over 250 participants to access meals, housing, advocacy support, and much more.

The event will also offer the opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation online when you purchase your tickets. You must show your ticket for entry to Street Eats, so bring your printed ticket or show your ticket on your phone.
