Starbucks' first Canadian "pickup-only" store is now open in Toronto

Starbucks has brought a Canadian first to Toronto.

The coffee chain has officially opened its first Canadian “pickup-only” concept — a store that is entirely dedicated to mobile orders.

This means that Starbucks Rewards members in Toronto can now head to the Commerce Court location and grab their coffee order on-the-go without any delays.

The new, pickup-only location offers the same array of food and beverages as a regular outpost, but here, there’s no seating available.

It’s the first-of-its-kind in Canada and the second in the world for the brand.

Accessible to customers who Mobile Order & Pay with their Starbucks app, folks who head into this new location can see exactly when their order is ready via a digital board that displays order status.
