Toronto is getting a new outdoor movie venue this spring

Toronto’s newest indoor-outdoor market is opening on April 10, and it’s bringing a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
The city’s shipping container market, stackt, will be offering outdoor movie screenings as the weather warms.

Movies will be played on a huge screen against one of the “shipping container buildings,” and you’ll get to lounge on the cushy turf to enjoy them.

The first movie of the season, John Wick 2, will be shown on May 14. The film screenings are meant to encourage visitors to use the plush green space at the market, instead of shying away from it.

This brand new addition to the city’s outdoor movie scene adds to Toronto’s long list of already beloved venues.
