If you’ve been wanting to take your workout to new heights, you’re going to want to sign up for this spin class at the top of the CN Tower.

Or if you’re in the mood to get your sweat on in an eerier setting, you can take a class below ground level, in an abandoned subway station.

On Wednesday, October 23, SPINCO will be celebrating its fifth birthday, and in honour of this milestone, Torontonians can enjoy spin classes at two very iconic venues in the city.

Riders can take a break from the studio and enjoy a class at either the top of the CN Tower or in the vacant subway station Lower Bay, which hasn’t been open to the public in 53 years.

Sunset rides will run from 6 am till 11 am at the CN Tower, while evening rides will run from 4 pm till 8 pm at Lower Bay Station.

With a total of eight class times to choose from, chances are there’s a class available that will work with your schedule.

Just named 30th on a list of Canada’s top growing companies, SPINCO currently has 12 studio locations from coast-to-coast including Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, and Kelowna, with five more slated to open before the end of this year.

SPINCO was founded by Michelle August when she was 22-years-old and philanthropy has been pinnacle to each studio’s mandate with weekly Spin It Forward rides and ongoing community initiatives, which have raised over $750,000 and growing for local causes.

“Over the last five years, the SPINCO team and I have built a community of riders from all across the country who join us for more than 600,000 rides each year to engage the mind, body and soul,” said Michelle August, founder and owner, SPINCO in a statement.

“What I am most proud of is that throughout our rapid growth SPINCO’s values of inclusivity, empowerment and self love continue to be the foundation of our culture.”

Registration begins Monday, October 7 at 1 pm. Each ride will cost $50 per person, with all proceeds going to Right to Play.
