Another COVID-19 case has been reported by an employee at a Shoppers Drug Mart location in Toronto on Friday.

According to parent company Loblaws, on December 18, a Shoppers Drug Mart employee at 3446 Dundas Street West reported testing positive on a presumptive test for the virus. They had last worked on December 14.

Over the last few days, several other locations across the city and the GTA have reported multiple employees testing positive for COVID-19.

Loblaws also reported several of its grocery store locations have employees who tested positive for the virus in the last week.

In an effort for transparency, Loblaws updates their coronavirus cases reported in stores by province within the last 15 days.

“In addition, we have mandated that our staff and customers wear masks in Extra Foods, Fortinos, Maxi, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstores, and T&T stores across Canada,” said Loblaws.
