Seven Lives is hosting a $6 taco pop-up (with booze) in Toronto next week

Torontonians have been known to endure long lines just to sink their teeth into tostadas and tacos from Kensington Market’s Seven Lives taqueria.

Only problem is that the take-out joint can rarely accommodate dining-in, not to mention there’s nothing stronger than a horchata on the menu to wash those tacos down with.

Good news is the popular taco purveyor is joining forces with Kintori Yakitori next week. It’ll be the first time ever that Seven Lives will offer cocktails, mezcal, tequila, and beer to accompany their mouth-watering menu.

Look forward to antojitos (apps) including spicy esquites (Mexican corn) and ceviche tostadas, plus a half dozen different types of tacos built on hand-crafted tortillas.

House faves including the Gobernador, Camarones a la Diabla, Pulpo a la Mexicana, Baja Fish, Grilled Snapper, and Tacos Dorados con Papa (crispy rolled tacos) will all be on the menu.

Drinks-wise, look forward to finally pairing your fave fish tacos with Mexican beers (Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, and Tecate), tequila, mezcal, and cocteles like the Ponche, a mezcal fruit punch, or a Michelada topped with optional shrimp.

Seven Lives Pop-Up

When: March 3 and 4
Where: Kintori Yakitori, 668 Bloor Street West, Toronto
