The family-friendly event, presented by the Regent Park Community Food Centre, is offered every Wednesday this summer until August 28.

Prepared each week by different caterer enlisted through the community’s Culinary Training Program, meals are cooked up in the wood-fired oven, along with freshly baked snacks.

Rounding out the weekly feast local vendors and organizational partners hawk food and clothing, too.

Ibaka’s attendance was an exciting surprise for those who attended last night’s meal.
