Toronto’s second Farm Boy location is opening on January 31.

The city got its first store in Etobicoke in 2018, and now the grocery store is finalizing details before opening a location on the east side of town.

The new 20,038-sq-ft store, located at 1015 Lakeshore Boulevard East, will deliver local shoppers a “world-class food experience” and an abundant selection of the freshest foods.

“The heart and soul of our business since 1981 continues to be our focus on offering fresh, wholesome foods and friendly service,” says Jeff York, Farm Boy Co-CEO in a press release.

“We are excited to be opening our newest location in the Leslie and Lake Shore community and we promise to work hard to earn their business,” he says.

According to the release, shoppers can look forward to plentiful varieties of farm fresh produce, hormone-free and organic meats, and over 400 local farmsteads, international and Canadian cheeses.

There will also be a great selection of locally made products and plant-based foods.

Not to mention sweet and savoury treats scratch-made in the Farm Boy Kitchen.

Torontonians are invited to join the store’s grand opening celebration, to sample many of the tasty treats Farm Boy has to offer, and to meet some of the local suppliers that are featured in store.

Mark your calendar, because you don’t want to miss this.
