Scarborough Town Centre has really bolstered its dining options recently.
Aside from the food court, you can now fuel your next shopping trip with fresh baked goods, dim sum, scratch-made pasta, and more. Here’s where to eat at STC.
Le Dolci

Fareen Karim/Daily Hive
Le Dolci is a patisserie and cake shop located inside of Scarborough Town Centre which makes fantastical unicorn cakes that are frequently seen on Instagram feeds. The dessert counter stocks an array of cookies, loafs, cupcakes, and full-sized cakes on display and also takes custom order requests.
Cacao 70

Cacao70
This Montreal-based dessert shop’s beautiful dip shop and eatery lights up the Scarborough mall and has a ton of seating for its patrons. The chocolate pizzas are one of Cacao 70’s signature items and are a must-try when you visit. Just because they’re known for dessert, however, doesn’t mean you should cut them out for brunch. The brunch menu here is just as down-right amazing.
Kwan Dim Sum + Chinese Cuisine

Fareen Karim/Daily Hive Toronto
Mornings don’t always call for Eggs Benedict. Sometimes you need to get your Dim Sum on, and Kwan is just the place for that. Located right beside Cacao70, Kwan has some insanely cute animal-shaped dumplings and buns for you to share with some family and friends.
Eva’s Original Chimneys

Eva’s Original Chimneys
Having just bought out their biggest competitor, Eva’s Original Chimneys dominates when it comes to sweet, sweet ice cream in an even sweeter, “doughnut cones” in Toronto. These cones are actually Hungarian pastries that are fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, which pairs perfectly with some nice soft serve. Eva (maybe not Eva herself, but her employees) bake these cones fresh every day. Get ’em while they’re hot!
Love Me Sweet

Fareen Karim/Daily Hive
Japanese cheesecake is here to stay and Love Me Sweet solidifies this with its own take on the Asianic dessert. Love Me Sweet uses only natural ingredients for its decadent, light, and fluffy cheesecakes. The selection of cheesy goodness also includes cheese tarts in original, matcha, and chocolate flavours.
Scaddabush

One of Toronto’s favourite Italian chains has made Scarborough Town Centre home. Rejoice in the fresh mozzarella and the scent of finely chopped garlic at Scaddabush or dig into fresh pastas made in-house daily with maybe a meatball or two to top it all off. Did I mention the fresh mozzarella?
SQUISH Candies

Fareen Karim/Daily Hive
Another sweet Montreal company on this list, SQUISH uses only the highest quality ingredients to create its over 100 flavours of gourmet gummies. Not into gummies? The store is stocked with other confectionery, such as vegan candy strips and cotton candy.
Canyon Creek

This steakhouse has six locations around the GTA and one in Niagara. Luckily for those around Scarborough Town Centre, you won’t have to venture too far to try one of Canyon Creek’s 40-day aged Prime Ribs. This place makes for a great date night or for an evening with friends, beef, and wine.
Crêpe de licious

@crepedelicious/Instagram
If you’re wondering where that delicious smell is coming from at Scarborough Town Centre, it’s probably from Crêpe de licious. The French street food hawkers serve savoury crepes for “healthy eating for people on-the-go” along with guilty pleasures like the Sundae Crepe or Choco-dream (that’s a chocolate crepe with chocolate sauce and strawberries).
Brioche Dorée
