Work hard, relax harder… at the Scandinave Spa at Blue Mountain.

With Ontario moving to Step 3 of its reopening plan this week, the spa’s indoor relaxation areas can once again welcome guests.

The Finnish Sauna, Infrared Sauna, and Eucalyptus Steam Room will reopen on July 16.

While the Scandinavian Baths were permitted to open on June 11, the saunas and steam rooms have been closed since March 2020.

Scandinave Spa has introduced myriad health and safety measures to keep guests safe, including reducing capacity to ensure physical distancing can be observed.

Guests are also limited to groups of two and must follow hygiene protocols during their visit. A pre-arrival COVID-19 assessment will also be required.

High traffic areas are routinely cleaned, and hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the spa.

Greeting areas, workspaces, and break rooms have been reorganized to promote physical distancing, and duo massage treatments are currently unavailable.

Beyond its soothing hydrotherapy and massage treatments, Scandinave Spa is also situated amongst 25 acres of natural forest and offers breathtaking views of the Niagara Escarpment and UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. If that’s not relaxing, we don’t know what is.

Bath reservations start at $85 and run for approximately three hours. One-hour massages start at $165 and come with free access to the baths.

Baths can be booked up to four weeks in advance and massages up to four months in advance. Guests can also pre-order “Spa Day Essentials,” such as robes and sandals.

A same-day waitlist opens at 11 am for guests without an appointment, with prices starting at $75 for the baths.

Get ready to enjoy quiet serenity and plunge into nature.
