Savanna Hamilton announces departure from Sportsnet's Toronto Raptors coverage

It appears that Sportsnet will have a new sideline reporter for Toronto Raptors games next season.
On Tuesday evening, Savanna Hamilton confirmed her departure from the role in a social media post.
“After three unforgettable seasons covering the team I grew up watching, my time on the Raptors sideline with Sportsnet has come to a close,” Hamilton wrote in a post on her social media channels.
Hamilton, a former university basketball player and a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, had held the job since the beginning of the 2022-23 season. With Sportsnet typically carrying 41 games a season, Hamilton worked both home and away games as one of the few active travelling members of the team’s reporting staff.
“Though I imagined this chapter lasting a little longer, I’m grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every opportunity to grow while doing what I love. I always knew I was representing more than just myself. I carried the weight — and the pride — of the communities I come from. I hope I made you proud. This isn’t the end of the story — just a page turning.”
Amy Audibert had previously held the role before departing to work in a similar position on Miami Heat broadcasts. No announcement has yet been made publicly for Hamilton’s replacement, with the 2025-26 season set to tip off in late October.
“It was great to work with you over the last three years, hopefully we can work together again down the road. Keep on keeping on. Big things ahead!” longtime Raptors commentator Matt Devlin commented on the post.
“Just the start! You should be so proud,” TSN’s Kayla Grey added.
“Congrats on an incredible run! Can’t wait to see what’s next,” former Sportsnet colleague William Lou chimed in.
Offside has reached out to Sportsnet for comment and will update the story accordingly.
