The ROM is offering FREE entry on the third Tuesday of every month

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is offering Torontonians the perfect reason to ditch their regular Tuesday night plans.

Starting this November, the ROM is shifting its monthly evening of free entry from Mondays to Tuesdays.

Launched in April 2019, the initiative invites the public to experience the Museum free of charge one night a month.

On 3rd Monday Nights Free, ROM guests will be able to explore art, culture, and nature in the museum’s 40 galleries and collections from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, completely free of charge.

The last scheduled Monday event takes place on October 21 and the first 3rd Tuesday Nights Free kicks off on November 19.

The change in schedule reflects the ROM’s new fall – spring hours, which will be introduced on November 4.

Throughout the fall, winter, and spring, the museum will be closed to the public on Mondays and will now operate Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm.

During peak periods, such as holiday Mondays, the summer months, December holidays, and March Break, the museum will be open seven days a week.

This new schedule has been designed to allow the museum to carry out behind-the-scenes work without disrupting visitors.
