Rogers Communications is bringing their stores to your door. Literally.

According to the telecom giant, they are launching Pro On-the-Go, which is described as a new “personalized retail service” that is more convenient and simple.

Rogers said that within hours of ordering through the company, a connected solutions pro will meet a customer at their time and location of choice with their device and set it up based on their preferences.

The new service will launch with their cell phones, and to current customers in the GTA. The service is meant to save time, and will be free for the customer.

Besides bringing new devices to customers, the Rogers pro can also go through plans, features, and offer accessories.

“We know how valuable our customers’ time is and getting to a store is not always convenient or easy,” said Brent Johnston, President of Wireless at Rogers.

“This is about making it easier for customers to get the connected device they want in a way that’s convenient and personalized for them. We were the first national carrier to introduce unlimited data plans and now we’re innovating on our service experience.”

According to Rogers, this Canadian-first initiative is powered by Enjoy, which has already collaborated with US companies like AT&T, Google and Sonos.

“We are so excited to partner with Rogers, and to bring this proven formula to Canadians,” said Ron Johnson, CEO of Enjoy. “We provide top-notch personalized experience right in the customer’s home or office.”

So if you’ve been itching to get the newest model of your beloved phone, you can get it delivered right to you, in person.

Currently, Rogers is the only company in Canada to offer this service.

The company said Pro On-the Go is rolling out to GTA neighbourhoods starting late October, and expanding to other major centres in 2020.
