FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Toronto’s iconic summer tradition, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), will soon be here.
And while there are plenty of beloved traditions returning, like the midway complete with pavilions, rides and games, live entertainment, and outrageous eats, there are some new events worth checking out this year.
This includes The EX Race, which is an adrenaline-fuelled experience inspired by the hit TV show American Ninja Warrior.
- There will be cheap(ish) food options at the CNE this year
- Don’t miss the giant Food Truck Frenzy happening at the CNE this month
- These are the top 10 must-see attractions at the 2019 CNE
The EX Race is as much a physical challenge as it is a mental feat and will see participants take turns navigating a series of obstacles including cargo crawls, salmon ladder and 10-ft. warped wall inspired by the popular show.
While racing against the clock, competitors must overcome a challenging series of obstacles including:
- Quintuple Steppers
- Cargo Crawl
- Salmon Ladder
- Sea of Poles
- Monkey Peg
- Warped Wall
- The Ex Sign
It’s free to register for the obstacle course and contestants have the chance to win prizes, but more importantly, have fun.
The obstacle will be set up outside, west of the Toronto Star Flood Building.
Where: Exhibition Place – 100 Princes’ Boulevard
When: August 16 to September 2, 10 am to 10 pm
