There's a $1 'Food Festival' happening right now in these neighbourhoods

Jan 10 2019, 3:11 am

You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner for $1 until January 31.

To celebrate their launch in the Cabbagetown and Leaside neighbourhoods, food-ordering app Ritual is partnering with local restaurants to offer Torontonians $1 meals all month, in what they call the Ritual Food Festival.

The catch? You need to download the app to get the savings.

To get the deal in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood, search the tag ‘CABBAGEFEST’ and order meals for just $1.

You can order up to five times until the end of the month, maxing one order per day. Note: The Cabbagetown part of the promotion is designed for new users only.

Some of the Cabbagetown spots participating in the festival are:

Peking Express – 217 Parliament Street
Kibo Sushi House – 533 Parliament Street
Butter Chicken Factory – 556 Parliament Street
Urban Thai – 415 Parliament Street

Similar to the Cabbagetown promotion, those in Leaside can search ‘LEASIDEFEST’ and order their meals for just $1. Or, you can choose to order coffee for free for the entire month.

You can order meals up to five times, but can order coffee as many times as you want!

The one-order-per-day cap applies in Leaside as well. And this branch of the promotion is available to all users… even those who aren’t new to the app.
