Toronto Public Health has issued a coronavirus exposure alert after four patrons who visited Rebel nightclub later tested positive for coronavirus.

The four individuals were at Noir inside Rebel on September 11 between 10:30 pm and 2 am, the health authority said in a news release.

The nightclub is located at the entertainment complex on Polson Pier just east of downtown.

Toronto Public Health said anyone who visited Noir at the same time should monitor for symptoms for 14 days after exposure, make a concerted effort to keep two metres away from others, limit social contacts, and not spend time with anyone at higher risk for developing complications from COVID-19.

Health inspectors visited the nightclub on September 18, and found it was in compliance with public health regulations.
