Here's what the Raptors opening-night lineup looks like this year

The Toronto Raptors are just two days out from the official start of the 2023-24 season.

After a long and sometimes painful offseason where the team fired longtime head coach Nick Nurse and saw veteran point guard Fred VanVleet depart for the Houston Rockets in free agency, a new-look franchise has taken shape.

Twelve players return for Toronto, while six new faces are in the mix. Joining Toronto for their first official games this week are projected starting point guard Dennis Schröder and 2023 first-round draft pick Gradey Dick.

Also joining the fold are free agents Garrett Temple, Jalen McDaniels, Javon Freeman-Liberty, and Markquis Nowell, with the latter two signing two-way deals as they’re expected to jump back and forth between the NBA and the G League.
