Queen West BIA giving away gift cards to support local businesses

The Queen Street West business improvement area (BIA) is giving Torontonians a new incentive to shop local.

The BIA has launched a new campaign, called #LoveonQueen, to support small businesses amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Every day throughout the month of February, the Queen Street West BIA is giving away a $50 gift card to a different shop within its catchment area, which stretches from Simcoe Street to Bathurst Street.

The Riverside BIA on Queen Street East is participating in the #LoveonQueen campaign as well.

On Sundays, the two team up, and the prize jumps to $200.

Take part in #LoveOnQueen and support over 400 local Queen Street businesses in February.

To enter the day’s giveaway, visit the BIA’s website and open a virtual advent calendar, revealing which business is offering up the gift card.

You earn a new entry by performing small acts of support, such as following the business on social media or commenting on a post.

The giveaway closes at midnight each evening, and the winner is announced the next day around noon.

Past prizes have included vouchers to Planta, Starbucks, and So Hip.
