A sophisticated wine tasting event is coming to Toronto next week

There’s little more that’s quintessentially autumn than a proper wine tasting.

But it’s not in the cards for everyone to take a quick trip over to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a little mid-week unwinding.

Which is why The Living Vine is bringing the vino experience to you, in the heart of the city.

On Tuesday, October 22, Not a Wine Shop, Pop-up Wine Shop will take over the space at 96 Ossington Avenue to present Magnificent 7. From 2 pm to 8 pm, the pop-up will offer the chance to try wines from seven producers, chat with reps from each winery, and get a brief education on viticultural and vinification practices.

As you move through the space, you’ll be able to taste a large selection of wines and ask questions about your favourites, including learning the history of how they came to be so dang delicious.

Featuring wines from not only Ontario but France, Slovenia, and Italy, you can take your tastebuds on a mini-vacation of their own, even if the rest of you isn’t geared up to hop on a plane.

Entry is free for this sophisticated event, which you can register for here. Tastings will be priced by the oz.
