Ontario Place to put on magical (and free) new winter light show this year

After the successful light show at the Distillery District earlier this year, Toronto is getting another chance at immersing itself among tiny glowing globes.

Ontario Place will be hosting a Winter Light Exhibition in December, and is currently looking for proposals for illuminated sculptures.

According to the event’s submission page, the Winter Light Exhibition will celebrate the innovative and creative legacy, and they’re looking for sculptures that project light, shape light, transmit light, reflect light and/or contain light.

There will be up to 14 locations for the big exhibit, which will run from December 2017 to March 2018 throughout the 15-acre West Island.

Get ready for a magical winter wonderland at Ontario Place.
