Here's what you can get up to at Ontario Place this summer

In need of some fun activities in the city this summer?

Ontario Place is launching its summer line up of things to do on June 1, with activities for rain and shine, from IMAX movies to being out and about on the water.

These are just a few of a whole slew of thing you can get up to at Toronto’s waterfront park and entertainment venue.

Excluding the cost of some activities, entrance to the park is completely free from 5 am to midnight.

There are also tons of events offered throughout the summer, from live music to festivals, and Jazz Sundays at Ontario Place’s Vista Eatery. Check out more details and stay updated with Ontario Place’s event calendar and on its website.

Trillium Park

Looking to get moving outdoors? Get your steps in at Trillium Park with plenty of trails for jogging, or just let loose with plenty of space for strolling and picnicking.

Yoga

Ontario Place

Take up one of Ontario Place’s free yoga classes, offered at Trillium Park on weekend mornings with monthly sunset sessions as well.

Segway Tours

Ontario Place

Once you’ve gotten your fix of some zen, you can hop on a Segway along the waterfront. Tours cost $69 per person, and the maximum tour size is four participants.

Lake Shore Boat Rentals

Ontario Place

If you’re more into being out on the water, take a spin on one of several boats available for rental, from kayaks to paddleboats.

Fire Pit Rentals

Ontario Place

Soak in the skyline view with friends by the comfort of a warm fire pit by the water. The fee to make a reservation is $44.25 + HST.

Cinesphere IMAX Movies

Nothing like catching a movie on a rainy day, especially on a huge IMAX screen. Ontario Place’s Cinesphere is presenting a number of feature films including Apollo 11 IMAX that you can catch all summer long.
